Our Story
Our Owner Amy began her balloon adventure in 2013. Where she started working for Balloon Crew, Inc located in Cleveland, OH, with her then boss and now Good friend/Mentor Jacquie Sopko-Crolius, CBA. While with Balloon Crew Amy designed, planned and created extravagant Arches and amazing balloon decor for business such as J.A.C.K Casino, Cleveland State University, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Kent State University, ALoft Hotel Downtown, Spitzer Kia, Case Western Reserve University, Shaker Hts High School, and many more. In 2015 Amy received recognition as a Certified Balloon Artist from the Qualatex Balloon Network, while attending the FLOAT Balloon Convention in St. Louis MO. In 2018 Amy and her family relocated to the Mountains of NC to be able to spend more time in her step daughters life.
High Country Balloons was formed in 2021, As a Certified Balloon Artist serving North Western NC, Amy is one of only two CBAs in the area, and has been in the professional balloon industry for 9 years. She is so excited to bring a new style of decorating to the area for our community, students, congregations and families to enjoy!!
